ABOUT THE EVENT

Local non-profit organization Healthy Steps Hawaii and student entrepreneurship program Mākia Co are collaborating to host our first ever Pau Hana event for youth entrepreneurs. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from established entrepreneurs, business professionals, and college entrepreneurs in our community to network, talk story, and make connections that will empower them to continue growing their businesses and secure a financially independent future here in Hawaiʻi. The free entry event will include an itinerary of keynote speaker presentations, games, and dinner.

Healthy Steps Hawaiʻi  is an Oʻahu-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2023 aimed at helping the people of Hawaiʻi take the first steps towards a healthier future. We are interested in the social determinants of health and believe that by combating these problems, we can help guide Hawaiʻi toward a healthier future.

Mākia Co is a Hawaiʻi-based educational program empowering youth entrepreneurship driven by passion and purpose (mākia) by providing students with the tools and resources to grow as both business owners and lifetime leaders.​ At Mākia, we believe that entrepreneurship is not just about personal achievement; it is about fostering community, creating meaningful impact, and pursuing ventures in which passion meets purpose beyond oneself.
